The new United Methodist Church Bishop (left) prepares in the back before the service. Things like this excite me about my job. I go early (ok early-ish, I was watching football) and ask to get a behind the scenes pictures rather than just the service, I am first just told no, so I ask them to ask the Bishop, sheepishly they have to come back out and say, he said it was fine…
Finally got around to painting the new parts. Left is drying in the basement. The right was shot on 9/27, so not the POD, but shows the finished product.
Michael Taylor’s “Light Mantra” being installed. The 14 foot tall, 1,400 pound glass sculpture is a geometric structure made of stained and optical glass.
A beautiful day, even to catch nothing.
