The curly fries from the Sunset Grill in Hanover, NY. I was sent to the Indian reservation west of Buffalo for a story on tobacco manufacturing. I stopped in this grill because it had that old school, hole in the wall look. You know how in books the writer says “I will have your specialty?” This was it, it was a warm meal.

It was an epic race. The Ramble Around Prattsburgh, 30 miles of climbing (it seemed) in the rain, 40ish degrees, almost all on dirt (mud) I tried to hold back for next week’s 12 hour race in VA, but once I dropped Andy F. all bets were off ; ) Finish time was 2:40:00 for somewhere dead in the middle. I also went through a set of brake pads (and maybe rotors) today… not sure why I was braking going uphill!
