OK, this part of camping sucks. After getting some rain almost every day, including lots of thunderstorms… everything needed to be dried/cleaned/put away.

A day of fun. Steph enjoyed primitive camping in the woods (she did do this before, but it was on the beach and she was a lot younger) we played around in the waterfall, drive up and down searching for a fire tower that isn’t on the map and then drove home.

Another drive day. Time to escape the heat (and rain) of TN and back to the Monongahela National Forest, this time to one of my favorite primitive sites.

What a great camp ground for a race, alcohol free, so no loud, rude folks and not crowded… I wonder if that is related ; )
Started the day at Bristol Caverns, then on to get out Kyle Busch swag, and then race time. Busch wins again!
