Home again and unloaded. That is a lot of gear to present the Southern Short Course. Enough here for judging two contests at once, registering attendees, mix three audio sources during speaker presentations, print and make contest awards and back ups for all of the above.

Sol Neelman wore a Mexican wrestling mask his whole presentation during the Southern Short Course, and it didn’t even feel odd….. great speakers and day.

Midnight, uptown Charlotte. It seems on a day where I had a plumber visit to fix a sump pump, Sam and I set up a whole audio set-up to test at school, drove to Charlotte, got kicked out of a hotel room for being too loud with a dozen drinking photographers, I would have done better than this for a POD. Nope, I didn’t. The Southern Short Course has started!

Another weather day and 30 minutes of snow. It was a band of thunder snow that dropped 1/4-1/2 inch and was gone!
Spitz is not happy this morning. 1/2 a inch of ice pellets. Better than sleet since it didn’t coat the trees, but not as pretty.
