Getting ready for a camping trip to West Virginia…. checking over the 230,000 mile Taco, rotating tires, etc when I find my rear axle seal is leaking again (this is the 4th time) into the shop it goes, glad I have a great one!

Hugs, the photography graduation recognition. Because so many of our graduates are on internship during the school’s ceremony, we honor them during our own recognition.

Small Format Baseball. Again this year, some REALLY nice images!
Context to yesterday. One of the final assignments is 36 strangers, photographed within 3 feet, they must get names, ages, hometown and an interesting fact. Then there are other criteria, focal length, type of light, light pattern, etc. I grade them 0-3 – There are over 1,000 pictures turned in on Wednesday, I have them graded by Thursday, I look at each photo 4 times, including the EXIF data, so 4,000 views plus reading the facts. It is all a blur now! PS the Zero above is a nice image but teh wrong light pattern, it was supposed to be short light.

Final performance quiz of summer. Bounce flash. Left to right. Under exposure ambient -3 stops, use gels to balance color temperature and exposure, and custom white balance with a blue gel on the flash to create the super orange.
I went to work before a rain storm, it poured, and I left when it was over.
This is not helping with my car crush on VW vans. Auto show in Asheboro every third Friday.
