Wednesday when driving to Columbia, we passed this peach orchard and the gold colors were gorgeous, but I didn’t stop.

Four days later, the wind and blown the leaves off the trees!

I love riding in Harbison State Forest in Columbia, SC. A couple of years ago I won my only Southern Classic MTB Series race on the course and a couple of year’s later clinched a State Mountain bike championship on it. Today was no different, even after I snapped a chain (I had the parts and tools with me for a change) , I love the flow!
Thanksgiving family picture!
and game time…
Sam wanted a haircut
a lot of hair!
What an afternoon for a ride!
A long day of renovation prep, including packing up my multimedia storage room.
Came home and went mountain biking in Greensboro.
The family came and enjoyed a walk in woods and the dog park for Kodak.
A busy 24 hours. After yesterday’s ride I drove to Blowing Rock and camped in the front yard of grandmother’s mountain retreat. My brother Bill (and I – after paying for girl’s college) bought it from family and spent the day on upkeep. Raked year’s worth of leaves, washed the sides free of algae, re-hung gutters and cleaned the inside.
Last ride of the year in shorts? And the first ride on the CX pit bike set up for road. Heavy “city” tires and cast off parts, but it is a bad weather ride.
