How is your morning going?

A new lab this year, I rode my mountain bike in a square for 25 minutes and just over 4 miles so students could try different auto focus modes and focus clusters. They have to analyze the total number of images vs the percentage of sharp images, write about about each mode and which worked best for them….. but I got paid to ride my bike!

My daughter, Sam Capers, took part in the student walk out at Randolph Early College High School as part of the #Enough! National School Walkout to raise awareness of school safety and remember the 17 people killed 1 month ago in Florida.
The students stood silently for 17 minutes, it was very respectful, ending with a single student asking they all be nicer to each other, to talk to each other.

Throwback Tuesday. That time I was almost the cover of Toyota Trails, the TLCA magazine. I wrote a story called “Plan B” how adventuring with my Toyota Tacoma leads to many Plan B decisions. This year we had planned to go to Nova Scotia, but something came up, so we headed to Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia, after a couple of cold nights and bear visits, my friend’s wife wanted warmth, so we headed to Cape Hatteras for the rest of the vacation….. I am never  unhappy if camping.

I am tired of winter, it’s March, they cancelled indoor tennis and I am riding in my basement. 1 hour with an Aussie video I found on YouTube. Workout is from CTXC videos, for my Toyota friends – tons of Hilux and Cruiser sightings

I am also playing with the iPhone and video so I can help my students and what they are experiencing on internships.
