None Shall Pass – a quick trip to Uwharrie, slept well, drove a bunch of roads and did an open water swim to make sure my triathlon wetsuit wouldn’t split from dryness.

Wicked Weed tap take over at Bites + Pints. I went because they had a couple of sours, a watermelon passion fruit (pictured) and one called White Angel. Beer was good…

But the hamburger was awesome, I had the breakfast burger… it was so good, I plan to get it again Wednesday before tennis!

Last week I saw these women playing badminton, but I had a tennis match before I could walk over.

tonight I had 10 minutes, so I introduced myself and asked if I could hang out

they had a lot of fun, I wish I had brought something more than a 11-16mm lens!

Sunrise from Flat Top Tower. I had wanted to hike to it for lat night’s sunset but was exhausted from my ride for the 5 mile hike. So I got up before the sun and ran to the tower… I missed the very beginning since I didn’t take in the fact the first 2.5 miles was “uphill” and my running pace was slower. Still a gorgeous sunrise and a great run.

Road trip to mountains, it’s really hot at home!

I wanted a long ride and managed to find one. Blowing Rock past Grandfather Mountain and into Linville, then back up the Blue Ridge Parkway over the Linville Viaduct.

I was talking with a friend about how I wanted to get back to 165. I am close – 60 pounds lost in 14 months. The way this week ended, I might be there by Tuesday!
