Tour de France day 1

I broke the STI shifter on teh road bike and found a new to me one on FB, it’s the “new Ultegra 6800… when I went to install, the cable routing was nothing like the old one. After 2 YouTube videos on the “new” shifters, mine still wasn’t like those either… I finally got them.

Do you believe truck’s have souls? I do, I planned to drive Rojo the rest of this week and she immediately overheats…. 370,000 miles, no problem, new truck and she is jealous. To make matters worse the hood release broke and I can’t get it open.

Installing the Flippac on Pongo, first we had to remove the roof top tent and bed rack.

How do two old guys move a 250 pound camper from one truck to another? Slowly! This worked better than we imagined. I can not thank Clay enough for giving up a Saturday to help me for 9 hours…
