Monday, today was long ride on the BRP, picnic lunch, and hike to waterfalls.
A quick trip to the mountains, the goal was to stay off the Blue Ridge Parkway, once I got on a dirt road, we only drove about 15 miles of pavement the rest of the day.
Our camp spot for the night off a rough forest service road, not one vehicle went by and we were next to a creek…. perfection!
Guess I am not riding here today.
Time and use had torn up the old padding on my storage boxes, but the contact cement I used was not coming off, so yoga mat glued on top the old… like new again!
This is not as pleasant as you might think….
Hill Repeats. 1/2 mile hill at 6% grade. Maintain 10-11mph through whole climb. They suck, but are fun in a weird way.
There is no better season than fall for bikes.
I have always loved the way my cyclocross bike looked, today I realized I have a Taco that matches it!
I hate rainy days. After way too long on the couch, I finally accomplished something, cleaned up and fixed the cyclocross bike. All I need now is to find a race.
Hurricane Delta closed my local trails, but the radar showed no rain just south of the border. It’s been a couple of years since I rode the sand hills.
