I am covering class lectures for my boss this week, so I am bringing in graduates to cover my lectures. First is Allison Isley, fresh off speaking at the Grandfather Mountain Workshop, she went a little long, but the class really enjoyed her talk.
Carolina ‘Cross on the the screen… in front of a standing room only crowd!
After the film block, film makers got to introduce themselves and take questions… the best part was when another filmmaker used part of her introduction time to gush over our film and complimenting it as a first time documentary film!

RCC graduation. Only 3 photography students walked… they really don’t feel like they are finished since they have summer classes before the finish!

Our Gallery. It was great seeing old friends, coworkers and alumni! We are renovated! new space, equipment and courses, a great day for the photography department!
Louie Palu, an award winning documentary photographer and filmmaker, known for his work examining social political issues such as human rights, conflict and poverty.
Palu showed his latest documentary, “Road Through War” a road trip along the front lines of the war in Ukraine, and talked to the Photojournalism class and first year students about looking at old ideas in a new way, story telling and preparing for reportage in dangerous environments.
