The rain bands of Irma stop to come.
I was playing with my mirrorless camera’s setting and I found this miniature setting, but when you shoot in RAW and go through ACR, you loose the effect.

Hike #23 of #52hikechallenge
We enjoyed a lunch and quick swim in the cold water and finished up… the threat of rain and tired legs, we decided to come back and try the Black Balsam Knob from a different trail head next time.
After dropping the packs at the truck, we did the short hike to Lower Falls – enjoyed a swim and headed home.
through 7 tunnels on the Blue Ridge Parkway. A 10 out of 10 weekend!
A Land Cruiser and clouds….
A day at home, the Land Cruiser is back, so I had to rotate the tires. (Before on top, after below) I had been running the new 285s on the Taco, and a set of worn out tire on the LC while in the shop, now everything back… I will miss the stance of the 285s on the Taco. The rest of the day was spent watching the Tour, yard work and packing for the next trip.
It’s back…. head gasket, hoses, belts, PHH, radiator and a bunch of other hoses….
The next morning…. Johnny sleeps in…
as I headed home to clean up and get ready for work (read grade) – look at the top of the tent

A fun day on the trail, swimming, eating, awards, watching the ISS fly by and gathering around in the dark with friends.
32 “relics” in the picture, 40, 60, 70 series and several more not in the picture.
At the last minute I decided to attend the Olde North State Cruisers’ Carolina Relic Run for Land Cruisers built before 1990. They have a staff photographer, so I played with just video this weekend.
So sad to see it on a tow truck, but off to be fixed….
