Yep, driving home. 8:30am till 9:40pm
Camped last night at KOA in Virginia, on the road to Massachusetts.
On the road – Heading North.
Another weekend of racing cyclocross in NC. Saturday is on a new venue in Lenior.
The course feature short but steep climbs, a stair run, sand, mud and some pain.
I decided to stay solo in the mountains, so after my race, and cheering some friends, I went waterfall hunting.
And driving dirt roads I could find.
Even some Forest Service roads.
My second hike/water fall was cut short by too many stream crossing and only one pair of shoes.
I camped on the Blue Ridge Parkway on the last night it (campground) was open for the season, between the temps in the 40s and rain, I had the whole campground to myself, never even saw a Ranger. Peaceful night reading and listening to the rain and wind.
Back seat critics. It’s 11:40pm and I don’t have a POD, driving home from the Clark’s, all I hear from Deb and Sam is – “those are boring pictures, find a straight long road.” As I say – get your own POD page!
Friday night car show badges.
My computer died before i could add this image. This is Sam’s dream van for a cross country trip… The Lobster Van (yes we know it’s a shrimp)
Not getting out much, other than driving Sam to and from school.
I am pretty sure Kodak thinks my whole break should be spent driving her around….
A rainy start to the week.
